Challenge

Urban composition depends on many interconnected elements: routes, landmarks, building edges, programme, traffic, public space and vegetation. The course needed a visual language that could isolate each principle while preserving its relationship to the wider urban system.

Approach

I reduced every topic to a clear hand-drawn scene using repeated buildings, figures and streets. Black linework establishes the shared framework, while red and mint accents identify movement, hierarchy and intervention so each idea can be read quickly during a lecture.

Outcome

Sixteen coherent educational illustrations that turn urban-design principles into an approachable sequence, helping students compare spatial conditions and understand their consequences.
